Galaxy A10, Galaxy Xcover 5 getting November 2021 security update

Samsung started rolling out the November 2021 security update to entry-level and mid-range smartphones a few days ago. The update was released over the past week to the Galaxy A12, Galaxy A31, Galaxy A52, and the Galaxy A52s 5G. Today, the company has released the update to two more Galaxy smartphones: Galaxy A10 and Galaxy Xcover 5.

The new software update for the Galaxy A10 comes with firmware version A105MUBS7CUK1. It is available in various Latin American markets, including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay. The Korean variant of the Galaxy A10 has also received the update (with firmware version A105NKOU4BTJ1). The Galaxy Xcover 5 is getting the new update with firmware version G525FXXS4AUK4 in Argentina.

The new update includes the November 2021 security patch to fix various privacy and security related vulnerabilities. While we don’t have the changelog for the updates yet, they might also contain general bug fixes and devices stability improvements. The smartphones might get the new updates in more markets over the next few days.

If you are a Galaxy A10 user in Latin America (or Korea) or a Galaxy Xcover user in Argentina, you can check for the update manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and clicking on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash your smartphone manually.
