Galaxy S21+ leaks in CAD renders along with exact dimensions

After the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Ultra leaked on a number of occasions in the past few weeks, the middle-of-the-road Galaxy S21+ is also getting some love from industry insiders. Cue this latest batch of detailed CAD renders that show off the said model from all angles. They are all said to be based on factory specifications which suggest the Galaxy S21+ will measure in at 161.55 x 75.6 x 7.86mm.

The still renders have been created alongside a 360-degree video of the device that you can see below.

The aforementioned dimensions indicate the Galaxy S21+ will be negligibly larger than its direct predecessor, which measured in at 161.9 x 73.7 x 7.8mm. Which would actually make it almost identical to the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G (166.9 x 76 x 8.8mm). The cited size is in line with recent rumors of a 6.8-inch 120Hz display being part of the package. For added context, the Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G offered 6.7- and 6.9-inch screens, respectively.

The Terminator-like back panel design we have already seen in previous leaks is present here, as well. It constitutes Samsung’s latest attempt at seamlessly blending a bulky multi-camera setup with the metal unibody form factor characteristic of its modern high-end smartphones.

The Galaxy S21 range is set to launch in mid-January, according to our exclusive report from several weeks ago. It might even make it to the market by the very end of the same month, though early February is the longest we are likely to have to wait before we’re able to buy one of Samsung’s next-gen Android flagships.
