Samsung has put up the Galaxy Note 10 trade-in value chart for customers in the United States. It’s being generous with the trade-in values. The company promises up to $600 for an old phone, hoping to make the $1000+ price tag sting a little less.
The company has put up its reservation page for the “next generation of Galaxy,” which obviously means the Galaxy Note 10. These are not pre-orders, mind you, just pre-registrations. Samsung does say that those who register will receive early access to select their phone color and storage options.
Samsung posts Galaxy Note 10 trade-in value chart for the US
The Galaxy Note 10 trade-in value chart provides values for Samsung, Apple and Google smartphones only. The Galaxy S10 series gets $600 and so does the Galaxy Note 9. Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 8 have been assessed at $300. Samsung will also accept the Galaxy S7 for $200.
The iPhone X, XS Max, XS and XR all have a $600 trade-in discount value. Older models like the iPhone 6S can also be traded in for $250. The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL get the full $600 while their predecessors get $300 trade-in value. The entire value chart is available on Samsung’s website.
Customers who trade-in their devices will be able to put the value towards the purchase of a new Galaxy Note 10. They will also get a $50 instant credit which could also be used for devices and accessories on Samsung.com. Those who pre-register now will be required to place an order within 72 hours after the device goes on sale. Do keep in mind that making a reservation now will opt you in for promotional emails from Samsung. The Galaxy Note 10 will be unveiled on August 7. It’s expected to go on sale come August 23.
