We just reported that the stable Galaxy S9 Android Pie firmware is now rolling out. Samsung had previously said that it would release Pie for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9 in January 2019. However, it seems like the company has sent out an early Christmas present for Galaxy S9 owners.
Samsung is rolling out firmware version G960FXXU2CRLI and G965FXXU2CRLI for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ in Germany. It may be a while before the firmware goes live in other markets across the globe. No worries, though, as we have the stable Galaxy S9 Android Pie firmware available for download from our database.

We have already shared the screenshots of the update roll out in our earlier post. The actual firmware file has now been obtained and uploaded to our database. Android Pie firmware version G960FXXU2CRLI is now available for download from our firmware section. We’ll have the firmware for the Galaxy S9+ available soon as well.
As previously mentioned, this is the fastest rollout of a major Android update from Samsung, not that we’re complaining. It doesn’t seem that the stable version is out yet for the Galaxy Note 9. It may be a matter of time before the flagship phablet gets it as well.
