HMD Global promised to upgrade the Nokia 8 to the latest Android version, 9.0 Pie, before the end of 2018 and we now see the first piece of evidence that the OTA update is just around the corner. It comes in the form of a Geekbench listing. As you can see, the listing says that the 4GB RAM version Nokia 8 runs on Android 9.0 Pie, which in turn means that the company is already testing the handset with the new software version. We hope it will come sooner because Juho Sarvikas promised cool new features coming along. Those include ARCore support, new UI revamp, navigation gestures...
