Given that the Galaxy A52s is still hot off the presses, it is a tad too early to talk about its successor, the Galaxy A53. A previous report told us that it would recycle the main camera module of its predecessor, but not much else. Now, the same source, Galaxyclub.nl, has shed some more light on what the Galaxy A53 could have in store for us.
It seems that the Galaxy A53 will be available in a total of four colour variants: black, white, light blue, and orange. The report adds that these colours are, for the most part, confirmed and that there could be new variants added once the smartphone is due to be launched sometime in Q1, 2022.
The Galaxy A53 could be more than just an incremental upgrade over the Galaxy A52s
Until now, most Galaxy A50 series smartphones have offered little in the way of upgrades over their immediate successors. Although the Galaxy A53 is slated to reuse the same primary camera module as the Galaxy A52s, it could bring forth significant improvements on other fronts, such as the SoC.
We learned earlier that Samsung was planning to use Exynos chips in more of its devices and that the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A73 could be at the receiving end of the said hardware. Samsung could, in all likelihood, unveil new mid-range Exynos chipsets alongside the flagship Exynos 2200. Some of them could get an AMD Radeon GPU, too.
