Last week, Samsung released the October 2021 security update to the Galaxy S10 series. The company has now released the software update to the carrier-locked models of the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and the Galaxy S10 5G in the US.
The update is currently rolling out with firmware version G97xUSQS6GUJ1 on Sprint’s network. However, more US carriers could release the new update over the next few days. It includes the October 2021 security patch that fixes more than 60 vulnerabilities related to privacy and security. It could also include general bug fixes and stability improvements.
The latest update for the Galaxy S10 5G (SM-G977T) comes with firmware version G977TUVS8FUJ1 and is available on T-Mobile’s network. It includes the October 2021 security patch as well.
