Samsung has been on a roll over the past few months, and it has released the Android 10 update to various smartphones and tablets. Earlier today, the company released the Android 10 update to the Galaxy Tab S4, and now, it has released Android 10 for the LTE variant of the Galaxy Tab S5e.
The Android 10 update has started rolling out to the Galaxy Tab S5e in the UK. The new update carries firmware version T725XXU1BTF7 and has a file size of 2061.83MB. It brings along the June 2020 security patch, but we currently don’t know for sure if it is One UI 2.0 or One UI 2.1. However, we assume that it is One UI 2.1 since the Galaxy Tab S6 and the Galaxy Tab S4 recently received the One UI 2.1 update with Android 10.
The new software update brings improved Dark Mode, smoother animations and transitions, Google’s full-screen UI navigation gestures, and refreshed icons and colors. Other new features include Digital Wellbeing, more emojis, better camera app layout, redesigned Device Care section, and better text visibility over wallpapers. Samsung has also updated most of the stock apps with better UI design and more features.
If you’re a Galaxy Tab S5e user from the UK, you should now see the update notification pop up in the notifications section. If you haven’t received it yet, you can check for the update manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. If you don’t want to wait for the OTA update, you can download the firmware file from our firmware section and flash it manually.
