Samsung has launched three different variants of a Galaxy S flagship for the first time. There are multiple configurations available for the handsets but not all of them will be available for purchase on March 8. That’s when pre-order customers start receiving their orders.
The same holds true for customers who have pre-ordered their Galaxy S10. Samsung won’t be shipping out all of the units on March 8 in the United States. Those who opted for certain models will have wait for a bit longer before Samsung sends them out.
Some Galaxy S10 models will be shipped later in the month
Samsung’s official US website mentions that the unlocked and carrier-locked variants of the 128GB Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10+ will ship between the week of March 15 and March 22, depending on the color chosen by the customer. This would mean that these models may not be readily available from stores come March 8 as well.
The models that will be immediately available on March 8 in the United States include the 512GB Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and the 1TB Galaxy S10+. Same goes for the Galaxy S10e, regardless of the color chosen. The staggered release for certain configurations will likely be seen in other markets as well. We already know that the Ceramic White finish won’t be shipped in the Netherlands before March 22.
