Samsung is planning to launch variants of the Galaxy S8 and S8+ with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. These variants were certified by TENAA just before the official unveiling of Samsung’s newest flagship smartphones. It is now being reported that the 6GB RAM variant of the Galaxy S8+ would cost upwards of $1,000.
A new report from ETNews says that the Galaxy S8+ with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage will only be released in China with a price tag of KRW 1,155,000 (or $1,030). Those pre-ordering this variant of the Galaxy S8+ will also get a DeX dock (which costs KRW 160,000 or $150) for free.
Samsung launched the 128GB storage variant of the Galaxy S7 last year in South Korea and then released it later in a few other markets, including India and New Zealand.
