Death Stranding: Director’s Cut now available on iOS, iPadOS and macOS

Death Stranding: Director’s Cut is a video game by Hideo Kojima about a courier tasked with delivering supplies in a desolate post-apocalyptic world. The eerily beautiful game has been available on PlayStation and PC for some time, and starting today, it is also available for devices with Apple silicon - iPhones, iPads, and Macs. The Director’s Cut version was announced for Apple devices back at WWDC 2023 and was demoed on an iPhone 15 Pro during the phone’s launch in September. Now, it can be played on an iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPad with M1 or later (that’s the...

Here's Apple's new ad for the Vision Pro headset

Apple made the Vision Pro headset official last June, following years and years of rumors about such a product. On January 19, the company finally started taking pre-orders, with initial shipments scheduled for February 2. In the meantime, however, the shipping estimates have slipped into weeks, given the headset's popularity - it's estimated that over 180,000 units have been pre-ordered. So clearly, people are intrigued by the Vision Pro. While it may not be a mass-market product yet, with its price and convoluted ordering procedure, it's definitely making a lot of people interested. The latest phone to go through our battery testing cycle is the Galaxy S24 – Samsung’s 2024 compact flagship offering. Armed with a 4,000 mAh battery, this year’s smallest S-series phone managed an impressive 12:07-hour active use score which positions it ahead of its predecessor. Our review unit is equipped with Samsung’s Exynos 2400 chip for what it’s worth, but we'll try and procure a Snapdragon unit for comparison purposes when we get the chance. Breaking down the scores by category, S24 posted a 23:26-hour talk time endurance which falls short of the Galaxy S23 and S23 FE models....

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra makes it 4 out of 4 this year, occupying the top of our trending chart in every week of 2024. Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ battery life test

We're done testing the battery life of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ - the highest standing member of the current Redmi Note lineup. It packs a 5,000mAh battery and manages to pull numbers nearly identical to its predecessor, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+. With an Active Use Score of 10 hours and 38 minutes, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has good battery life but not great. The likes of the Poco X6 Pro, and Xiaomi 13T managed better numbers in all four tests with the same 5,000mAh battery packs. Browsing and video playback, in particular, were underwhelming. On a positive note, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+...
